I just wanted to let everyone know that Mike and I had a couple of phone conversations with some upper management at our local grocery store chains, in regards to bottled water donations, and so far we’ve gotten shut down pretty hard.
The common roadblock seems to be the fact that LiveLove is not TECHNICALLY a non-profit at this current point in time and the grocery chains are getting hung up on the legal details…mainly IRS compliance and associating themselves with a non-incorporated entity.
While that is the direction Mike and I would love to go with it – becoming a full-fledged non-profit organization – there is a lot of research, legal documentation, and $ that needs to go into it before we get there. Mike Clark has already begun traversing this road for Live Love and we hope to have all of this completed in the next one to two years.
In the mean time, we’re not stopping or even slowing our personal efforts toward living love to every single person we can. Whether that’s pulling weeds for an elderly home owner, collecting toys for an established Non-Profit, such as Dolls For Daughters, or even just tossing a couple of bottles of water to a homeless friend we see on the street, and sharing the truth and light of the gospel with those who need it. Living Love is a lifestyle, obviously. We want to boldly proclaim our faith through, not only our words, but most definitely through our actions. I hope you will join with us in living out our faith.
Live. Love. Change The World.
Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ, who gave Himself for our sins to deliver us from the present evil age, according to the will of our God and Father, to whom be the glory forever and ever. Amen.
